Transitioning

I apologize for the lack of blog posts over the past couple weeks. I am now living in Villa Ballester just outside of the Capital. My apartment is not ready, however, so I have been living in a hogar for women beside the church. It´s like a college dorm. My apartment should be ready this week and I should have regular internet access soon.

I have worked at the church the past 2 weekends. On Saturdays, I help Cristina get things ready for Sunday. On Sundays, I help with Sunday school, lunch and activities for the preschool age children. The older children have guitar lessons after lunch and some of the girls are learning to knit and embroider.

Last Wednesday, I started my work at the community center. I work there Wednesday-Friday each week. I am really enjoying my time there with the children.
