And we're off... almost

My adventure has begun! I'm at the airport in Greenville, SC waiting to go to Chicago for a week of orientation before going to Argentina. Elliott and I are traveling together. Our original flight was scheduled for noon today. We got on the plane and out to the runway. After sitting on the runway for 20-30 minutes, the pilot announced there was an issue with the elevator and we were going back to the gate for the mechanic to look at it. After sitting at the gate for 15 more minutes, we deplaned to wait for the mechanic. After a while longer, we were told the flight was cancelled. We were put on the next flight to Chicago that leaves at 6:00pm. It's been a long day at the airport (7 hours so far). Hopefully, this is the worst of the travel issues we have.
