In Chicago

We finally landed in Chicago at 9:00 last night. Our 6:07pm flight was delayed until around 7:30. We grabbed dinner and our luggage then went to catch a shuttle to where we're staying this week. We found a schedule for the shuttle we were told to take. It only picks up at the airport at 15 til each hour and we got to the pick up site a few minutes before 10:00pm. We waited for the 10:45 shuttle, but it didn't come. Then we were told to take a cab. We finally got a cab from the airport at 11:30pm and got to where we needed to be around midnight. It was a long day of traveling, but I was so glad to finally get a shower and go to bed.

It was good to catch up with everyone today. We spent a lot of time talking about how we got to this point in our lives. It has been interesting to hear the different ways everyone has come to the same point right now. It is also comforting to be able to share fears, questions, concerns and things we're all looking forward to this year.
