Reina Sofía
I´m back from the south. I know you all missed my blog posts, but I´ve got plenty to post. I´m to break it down into shorter posts.
Thursday afternoon, I went to Reina Sofía (another museum in Madrid) with Sandra. I actually enjoyed looking at the artwork. There was a huge exhibition of Picasso´s work. They had a lot of his studio compositions on display along with the final painting. It was cool to see the progress from the first sketch to the final product. I also saw Guernica. It was HUGE! I seriously think it was 10 feet tall and 20 feet wide. I had seen it in my textbooks before, but I had no clue it was that big. Sandra and I had fun discussing some of the artwork and pointing out things in it that we´ve learned about in class.
